Not much happened in January this year. The biggest event was the snow/ice storm that hit us during the second week of the month. The kids were out of school for an entire week due to the snow and loss of power. It started out as lots of fun in the snow and then the novelty wore off when the lights went out for 3 days. Luckily, Daddy stayed home from work to keep the generator going and drive us out to dinner in the evenings!
