Jordan's turn

Today was Jordan's first day of Preschool. She's been a little nervous talking about it over the last few days, but when it was time to leave this morning, she grabbed her backpack and was rarin' to go. It was very cute. After posing for pictures, she walked right in front door of the Preschool, hung up her backpack and coat and marched right in and made herself at home just like she has seen her big sister do so many times over the past few years. Her class is very small this year (6 kids, including her). The most interesting thing is that she is the only girl. She didn't seem to mind though. I am pretty sure her teachers will spoil her with attention to make up for it. When I picked her up, she was all smiles. Eva grilled her about her day (what did you play? what kind of snack did you have? did you go down the slide? etc.) and she was happy to give us all the details.

I also had a nice morning. After a quick stop at Starbucks, I headed home and enjoyed my quiet morning. I've only waited 5.5 years for this day to come! I have to say, I spent most of the time thinking about them and looking forward to picking them up and finding out about their day.

Look familiar?  I took a similar shot of Eva on her first day of Preschool

Before entering for the first time.  Doesn't she just look so little and cute?
