CVES Walk-A-Thon 2011
Eva's elementary school (Cascade View Elementary School) has a Walk-A-Thon every Fall to raise money for the PTA to fund additonal programs and events at the school. Eva raised her quota (thanks to those we hit up). She walked 22 laps (each lap = 1/8th mile) over the coarse of an hour. She was worried she would get too tired to walk the entire time, but she only stopped a few times to take a drink. I was impressed! Luckily it was a beautiful, sunny day and I enjoyed cheering her on.
