First Days of School!

Today was the first day of preschool for Jordan.  She was nervous, but since it was the same classroom and teacher as last year, she did just fine.  She was very happy when I picked her up and said she couldn't wait to go back.  Yay!

Eva's first day was last Wednesday.  She was also a little nervous about starting 1st grade.  Her biggest fear was that the bathroom was down the hall instead of in the room (as it was in Kindergarten).  Luckily, the day before, they had a "meet the teacher" day where I got to take her in and check out her classroom and meet her teacher.  We practiced walking down the hall to the bathroom.  That eased her nerves and she was ready to go the next morning.  The biggest adjustment for her is that is all day this year.  She has been a little overwhelmed by that, but I sure she will adjust as time goes on.  For Jordan, it has been tough to not have her best play buddy at home all day with her.
