The Christmas Season has Begun

We always kick-off our holiday festivities with Scott's birthday.  It was an important one this year.  The big 4-0.  Eva and Jordan were very excited to plan the evening.  They baked and decorated cupcakes, wrapped the gift and picked out the balloons at the store.  I think Daddy was impressed with their gift too.  Because we know how much Daddy LOVES popcorn.

Part of Scott's birthday celebration included a trip to Las Vegas with his college buddies.  That left the girls and I on our own for the weekend.  Luckily we had lots planned to make the time go by.  We did our Christmas decorating (Scott helped us get a tree before he left), went to Eva's tap dance performance and attended the Santa Brunch at the Club.  Unfortunately, I failed a few times at my attempt as a single Mom.  My #1 mistake was accidentally turning the video recorder OFF at the beginning of Eva's tap dance performance and turning in ON at the end.  This made me VERY sad.   Especially since I had to choose between taking actual photos and video since I couldn't do both.  So I have nothing of the actual performance.  Just a few shots afterward.  I did get a few pictures of Eva dancing at her Friday evening school event, "The Dance Man."  You can get a taste of her moves with these.

The best part is the popcorn in the office where you pay
