The girls have come to the age where they start asking "is it Halloween yet?" starting around October 1st. It's been a long month of waiting, but it was worth it. We tried to stretch out the festivities to make it last. A week before Halloween we hosted our Moms group for a little party. The kids came in costume and were so cute. Next, we did some pumpkin carving with the Miles family. This is actually the first year we have carved pumpkins. I guess I was just being lazy in past years, but Eva requested that we do it this year and it was much more fun and less messy than I anticipated. Daddy did most of the work, but the girls help me pick out the pumpkins seeds so we could bake up a batch to snack on. Finally, the big day arrived and we did our annual Davison-Leslie-Miles pizza party and trick-or-treat outing. The kids had a great time. I was disappointed that I didn't get a photo of the girls together, but with all the chaos of trying to get out the door, I should be glad we got any taken.
